    How to set up the iPad the very first time or after a repair for SC Tablet, Speech Case with iPad, TD Pilot and TD Navio devices

    SC Tablet, TD Pilot and TD Navio devices
    These devices are managed by Tobii Dynavox Remote Management system. In order to receive the Apps on your iPad from Tobii Dynavox please follow these steps.
    1. Turn on the iPad. Depending on the model of iPad you have, the power button may be in different places. if you are not sure where the power button is, please see this Apple article. https://support.apple.com/guide/ipad/turn-ipad-on-or-off-ipad63d30b5a/ipados
    2. The Screen will turn on and the Apple icon will appear. Then, the Hello screen will appear, scrolling through Hello in other languages. Press the Home button. This is the round button on the face of the device. Depending on the orientation of the iPad it can be at the bottom, left, right, or top of the screen.
    3. Select the language you would like for the operating System.
    4. Select the Region.
    5. Appearance will appear. Choose either Default, Medium or Large then Continue
    6. QUICK START appears. Choose the SET UP WITHOUT ANOTHER DEVICEat the bottom of the screen.
    7. Choose a Wi-Fi Network. Connect the iPad to your network and enter the correct password. Once connected a message appears, "it may take a few minutes to activate your iPad"
    8. Transfer your Apps may appear Choose Don't Transfer Anything.
    9. Remote Management appears. ChooseEnroll This iPad. Configuring iPad will appear
    10. Touch ID Continue or Set UP Touch ID Later
    11. Create Passcode - You can set up now or choose Passcode Options. Choose Don't use Passcode.
    12. Apple Account - You can sign in now if you have an Apple ID, or forgot password, or don't have an account. If you choose Don't have an account, you can choose Set Up Later in Settings
    13. Terms and Conditions Agree or Disagree
    14. Update your iPad automatically - Continue or Only Download Automatically
    15. Location services - Enable or Disable
    16. Screen Time - Continue or Set up later in Settings
    17. iPad Analytics - Share with Apple or Don't Share
    18. App Analytics - Share with App Developers or Don't Share
    19. Light or Dark Display
    20. Siri - Continue or Set up later in Settings
    21. Welcome to iPad - Select Get Started
    22. The iPad home screen will appear with some icons: books, calendar, camera, clock, and more. The Apps from Tobii Dynavox will appear within a few minutes but will look greyed out. They will look normal when they are done downloading. This depends on the speed of your network.
    Speech Case with iPad
    A speech case with an iPad bought directly without a funding source or through a School system will not be managed from Tobii Dynavox.

    3. Select the language you would like for the operating system.
    4. Select the Region.

    6. To install the TD Snap App, if you received a redeem code, it is in an envelope with your manuals and guides. If you did not receive a redeem code from Tobii Dynavox with your order, go to the Apple app store and purchase the TD Snap App
    7. Open the Apple app store and select the icon in the upper right corner. Enter an Apple ID and password. If you don't have one, create one. You must have an apple ID to log into the store. You do not have to enter a credit card at this time. Select the Redeem Gift card (not common) or Code (not common). Enter the redeem code provided on the card. TD Snap will start to download.
